Google unveils Chromebit, a stick that turns any display into a PC! Priced at less than US$100 it’s expected to launch this Winter. Google pitches the Chromebit as something that lets you turn any LCD display instantly into a practicable computer. Using Chrome OS, an operating system built for the internet age, the Chromebit reduces our dependence on the bulky local software that runs traditional PCs.

Couple the Chromebit with a tool for navigating the software such as a Bluetooth keyboard or Wireless mouse and no doubt we’ll see the rise of viable computerised displays.

This development further reminds us how small and how inexpensive PC hardware has become!
